Today I watched one of my all-time favourite movies - Uptown girls. It starred the loveliest but now deceased Brittany Murphy as Molly Gun, a daughter of a famous rockstar. Dakota Fanning also had a role in it and played it well and I've always really liked her character in this movie. I have recommended this movie before when Brittany had just passed away but I think that it deserves another blog post. The story is very touching and surprisingly deep, the athmosphere and sets playful and funny, and the main characters written and played so well. If Molly were a real person, I would definitely want to get to know her. Without knowing Brittany I've always thought her as Molly, who is cheerful, funny, big-hearted, easy-going but caring and I feel like that's the way she was too. If you got even a little interested you really should watch this movie!

Uptown Girls on niiiiin mahtava leffa että! Pitäis joku päivä taas kattoo se itseasiassa. Oon nähny sen viimeks muutama vuosi sitten ku meillä oli Canal Digitalin leffakanavat ja tuo tulikin katsottua sieltä aika montakin kertaa :D
ReplyDeleteoh i do love brittany murphy, but if you didn't see "love and other disasters" yet you should definitely see it! it's even much better than "uptown girls"
