I think I have blogged about
Photojojo and their amazing
webstore before. They provide a wide range of cool and inexpensive photography-related stuff and I just recently received my first package from them! I ordered this set of two lenses of which one is a macro and the other a wide angle lens. Both lenses plus an extra adapter cost $55 dollars which is not that bad, is it? The lenses are supposed to be attached to the front of an SLR lens so no extra technology is needed, hence the price. The quality isn't of course astounding but for fifty bucks you can get a really nice toy to play around with. I have only been trying out the macro lens but I'm sure you'll see more photos in the future.
Today's probably been the coldest day of January so far - when I woke up it was -24 degrees Celsius outside. Crazy! I was happily surprised to notice that my trusty old car started just fine despite the weather, haha. I've been writing heaps of job applications this week because I really want to get a job this year. It's such a struggle though and there's only like a 1% chance someone will actually ever read my application... But I'll keep fighting!! Have a wonderful weekend peeps.

The lens is like an UV filter, so it fits most lenses! There are many adapters available too. :)

-24 degrees is absolutely ridiculous! I remember when I was in Beijing it was -13 degrees and I nearly died in the Great Wall haha. But the snow is definitely worth it right? I'm about to head off to the website to check their products out!

siis 55 dollaria objektiivista? :o häh!! pitäiskö tilata toi makro, jos kert noin halvalla saa. mimmosta jälkeä siitä laajiksesta tulee? :-)

DeleteThat's actually not a bad deal. The effects of the lense look really nice I especially like the last photo. And good luck with the job situation. It's hard to find a job but if you keep at it someone will definitely hire you!
